The Ampelokipi is a settlement on its northwest side Thessaloniki.
At a glance
Until 2011 the Municipality of Ampelokipi was a Municipality of the urban complex of Thessaloniki and was included by the municipalities: Thessaloniki, Menemeni, Evosmos, Stavroupoleos and Neapoleos. In 2011 it joined the Municipality of Menemeni in the Municipality of Ampelokipi - Menemeni with the Kallikratis program. According to the 2001 census it had 36,974 inhabitants.

- Monument of National Resistance (intersection of Eleftherias and Filippoupoleos streets).
- Monument of eight executed Resistance youths of May 11 - Kaistrio Pedio (Kallithea Avenue and October 28).
- Statue of a struggling Mother of the People (Eptalofos square).
- Monument to the fighter Stefanos Veldemiris (memorial plaque at the junction of Filippoupoleos and Peran streets, at the exact spot where on October 26, 1961, on the eve of the elections, the young fighter for democracy was assassinated).
- Monument of the Resistance Organization and the newspaper "Eleftheria" (on Eleftherias Street at the place where the first illegal printing house in Thessaloniki operated during the Nazi Occupation).
