Elafonisos is an island in the south of the prefecture of Laconia.
Generally
On the north coast is the homonymous settlement, which extends to the interior of the island. The area is frequented by thousands of tourists every summer, from late May to early September.

THE Simos beach is one of the most popular beaches in all of Greece, as well as, to a lesser extent, the Panagia beach
How to get there
It is possible to access the island by ferry from Pounta, the opposite cape (Naples).
How to move
The most common way of transportation is by bicycle, motorcycle and car, as there is no transport network on the island.

Pavlopetri, a city sunk for 4000 years off the coast of Elafonisos, is a necessary destination for tourists
