THE Kyllini is a town in southwestern Greece in the west Peloponnese in Ilia.

History
During the Frankish rule, Glarentza, the port of Andravida, the capital of the Principality of Achaia, was very close. In 1204, the Franks rebuilt the ancient port and created a new city, Glarentza, which turnip. Glarenza reached great prosperity and was one of the largest ports in the Mediterranean. In 1421-22 K. Tokko will acquire Glarenza from Franco Oliviero, and will colonize it with Albanians and former lords from the Despotate of Epirus. In 1428 it passed as a dowry to Constantine Paleologos, the last Byzantine emperor, but in 1432 he would demolish it from its foundations to face the problem of pirates. From then on the area was a small settlement until the liberation which was colonized by Ionians and shepherds and later by refugees from Asia Minor.

- Kyllini thermal baths (are 9 km from the town). They are located in a natural forest. The baths have existed since antiquity and have been found in Roman times.
