H Larnaca (English: Larnaca, Turkish: Larnaka, Armenian: Larnaca) is a town on its southeast coast. Of Cyprus. It is the successor city of ancient Kiti, one of the important kingdoms of ancient Cyprus, the birthplace of, among others, the ancient philosopher Zeno. Today it is the third largest city on the island, with a population, according to the 2001 census, 62,997 inhabitants (including the municipalities of Aradippou and Livadia).
