Lemnos is one of the islands of the North Aegean.
Lemnos has an area of about 480 km² and is the ninth largest island in Greece. The other two islands of the North Aegean are Thassos and Samothrace, which are mountainous and wooded, while Lemnos is hilly and barren. In summer, the predominant color of the landscape is brown. Lemnos is a destination for relaxing holidays in close contact with nature. Sheltered coves, long sandy beaches and volcanic rock landscapes, scattered with small hills and plains where the largest durum wheat is grown. You will also find traditional villages with stone houses. The beaches are excellent and without people.
