The Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (German: Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) is its L .nder Germany. It borders the states to the west Schleswig-Holstein and Lower Saxony, to the south with Saxony-Anhalt and Brandenburg and to the east with Poland, while it is washed north by the Baltic Sea.
