The Nea Mesagala, Kastri, Aigani, Kouloura, Paleopyrgos are its settlements Regional unit of Larissa in the Municipal Unit of Kato Olympus, with a population of 1,429 inhabitants.

The habitable settlement New Mesagala, includes organized beaches and is a suitable destination for mountaineering and hiking on its mountain trails. The second settlement on the beach of Aigani is Kastri-Loutro.
THE Αιγάνη is located at an altitude of 312 meters and at a distance of about 40 kilometers from the city Of Larissa but also from her city Κατερίνης. It is the last end of it Thessaly, as that is where the borders are Thessaly - Of Macedonia. According to the 2001 census, Aigani had 600 inhabitants, while the municipal district had 1,041. Two more settlements belong to the municipal district of Aigani. These are Kato Aigani, a settlement located on the national road, and Aigani Beach which is located at a distance of 8 km from Kato Aigani and 12 from Aigani. Aigani Beach consists of two settlements. One is Mesagala and the other is Kastri Loutro. Aigani has many natural beauties and combines mountain and sea. The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin, an old monastery as it was, is an important Christian heritage and the chapel of Agios Athanasios dating from the 14th century and is considered the oldest in Thessaly is the largest cultural and religious wealth of the village.
