THE Ναύπακτος is a seaside town with a population of 13,415 inhabitants in the Gulf of Corinth and belongs administratively to the prefecture of Etoloakarnania. Built between Antirrio and the mouth of the Mornos River, it is one of the oldest Greek cities.

Although a seaside town with a port, it does not have a regular ferry connection.

How to move
In summer the best way to get around is by bike, or car for longer distances. In Nafpaktos, as it is a very tourist area, a period of summer the beach of Psani closes its entrance to cars. Many, young and old, ride bicycles, both on the bike path and on the road, so be careful.
What to see
One of the most famous places of Nafpaktos is its castle. The panoramic view allows one to see its beautiful port. In addition, there is its watch characteristic for its beauty but also for the also magnificent view it offers. From there one can observe its lighthouse and the fortified port with the great history that the city itself has.
