The Dubai (Arabic: دبيّ) is one of the seven emirates and is considered the largest city in the United Arab Emirates, the administrative center of the Emirate of Dubai with a population of 1,469,330 inhabitants. It is located on the shores of the Persian Gulf, northeast of Abu Dhabi, next to Sarza. The Emirate of Sharjah, which borders Dubai, is considered to be more strict in adhering to Muslim rules (eg clothing, alcohol, etc.). Dubai is the largest commercial, economic and tourist center of the country. The city has two ports, since September 2009 Metro and a huge, luxurious and high-tech international airport (Dubai International Airport). One of the best airlines in the world, Emirates Airlines, is based in Dubai.
