- Belgrade (Beograd / Београд) - the capital of Serbia.
- Krajuevac (Kragujevac, Serbian Cyrillic: Крагујевац) - The first capital of modern Serbia, an industrial center and the 4th largest city in Serbia. Krajujevac is located in the Sumadia district, 120km south of Belgrade. The small river Lapenitsa passes through Krajujevac. Near the town is Lake Gruzansko (Гружанско Језеро). The city has a university, and important cultural and medical buildings. It has a rich history and many cultural and historical monuments.
- Kralievo (Kraljevo, Serbian Cyrillic: Краљево) - Kraljevo is an important economic center of Serbia, located 170km south of Belgrade. It is located between two rivers, the Morava and the Ibar. On the outskirts of the city is the monastery Zitsa (Жича) with a rich history, the famous thermal baths Mataruska (Mataruška spa, Матарушка бања), and a little further the thermal baths Bogutovačka (Bogutovačka Spa, Богутовачка бања).
- Nis (Niš, Serbian Cyrillic: Ниш) - The third largest city in Serbia. Nis has a rich history and cultural and historical monuments. Nis has a large university. Nis is the birthplace of Constantine the Great, where the ruins of his summer house are located.
- Novi Sant (Novi Sad, Serbian Cyrillic: Нови Сад) - The capital of Vojvodina and the second largest city after Belgrade. It is located 80km north of Belgrade on the Danube River. It is an important industrial, cultural and tourist center, with many cultural and historical monuments and museums. Important churches, the castle of Novi Sad, an interesting national park Fruska Gora, and many monasteries (over 16, called Mount Athos). South of it is the small town of Sremski Karlovci, which has many points of interest.
- Pozarevac (Požarevac, Serbian Cyrillic: Пожаревац) - One of the oldest cities in Serbia with a great historical heritage. An important commercial and cultural center, located 80km east of Belgrade. Nearby is the small town of Stari Kostolac with the famous archeological site Viminacium. Slobotan Milosevic was born in Pozarevac.
- Subotitsa (Subotica, Serbian Cyrillic: Суботица) - is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Serbia. It is located in northern Serbia and the languages spoken are Serbian and Hungarian.
- Vrsats (Vršac, Serbian Cyrillic: Вршац) - considered one of the most beautiful cities in Serbia, located 80km northeast of Belgrade, near Romania.
