Cruise tourism has been opened up in some areas of Xisha, which is the most conventional mode of transportation.

Unconventional methods include taking fishing boats (small, severe turbulence, and poor cabin environment) and troop supply boats (conditions are relatively good, but relevant units need to open letters of introduction in the name of official business).

The islands are similar in size, distributed in long clusters, and the distances are similar. Each island is surrounded by a circle of white sandy beaches, surrounded by green vegetation, embedded in clear water. In addition, the Chinese government plans to reclaim the sea and build land on Qilianyu, turning Qilianyu into an island larger than Yongxing Island, where the Sansha City Government is located, and plans to build an airport and a cross-sea bridge to connect Yongxing Island. At present, there is an artificial land connection between North Island and Middle Island in Qilianyu. View Qilianyu on Wikipedia View Qilianyu on Wikidata
