The subway runs from 6:00 to 10:30 from Monday to Saturday, and from 8:00 to 10:30 on Sundays and festivals.

Passenger transport

Santiago has 4 main passenger terminals, which depart from north to south. The largest passenger company is Tur Bus, and Pullman Bus and Cruz del Sur are more famous in the south.

  • The Sna Borja Bus Terminal (Alameda 3250) is next to the Central Railway Station, at the end of the shopping mall.
  • Alameda Bus Terminal (at the intersection of Alamed and Jotabeche) is the base camp of Tur Bus and Pullman Bus, going to destinations in the south, north and coastal areas.
  • Sur passenger terminal (between Ruiz Tagle and Nicasio Retamales, Alameda 3850), to the central coastal areas, foreign countries and all parts of the south.
  • Los Heroes Bus Terminal (Tucapel Jimenez), near Alameda Avenue in the city center, mainly along the Pan American Highway to the north, but also to Argentina and south to Temuco (Temuco)
