Balkh - 巴爾赫

Balkh (Persian: بلخ)), also known as Ba La Hei, "Bo Ti", "Bind Drink", "Bo Zhi", "Bo Thi Luo", "Bali Hei", "Ban City", is the Afghan Bal A small town in the province of Hecht, 20 kilometers northwest of the capital Mazar-i-Sharif (مزار شرىف). The ancient city of Balkh is the oldest site in Afghanistan. It faces the mouth of the Balkh River and is about 365 meters above sea level. In ancient times, Balkh city was once a city in Khorasan province (جراسان) in eastern Persia. It was the center of Zoroastrianism. Legend has it that Zoroastrian, the founder of Zoroastrianism, died in Balkh city. This wrap is also the center of Afghan Buddhism.
