Putrajaya - 布城

Putrajaya (Putrajaya; Jawi: ڤوتراجاي, formerly known as Prang Besar) is a new town established by the Malaysian government and became the third Federal Territory of Malaysia on February 1, 2001. It is located in the southwestern part of the Malay Peninsula, between Kuala Lumpur and Kuala Lumpur International Airport, about 40 kilometers apart. The entire city is vast, with undulating mountains and forests, and magnificent, 70% of which are green areas, red flowers and green leaves reflect each other, and the environment is quiet and pleasant. It is also the planned new administrative capital of Malaysia. After nearly 6 years of planning and construction, it is now a modern and emerging city on a considerable scale, and it has also become the latest tourist attraction in Malaysia. The Prime Minister's Department of Malaysia and various government ministries have moved to Putrajaya. Residential areas, commercial areas, cultural and leisure facilities and transportation systems have been basically completed.
