The northern extension of Guangzhou Metro Line 3 (Airport South-Tiyuxi Road Station), which connects to the new Baiyun International Airport, has been put into trial operation on October 30, 2010. Passengers can take the subway directly from the urban area to the first basement level of the new airport passenger terminal. It takes about 45 minutes. The North Airport Station is under construction to cooperate with the Airport South Station.
- The first bus departs from Airport South Station at 06:10; the last bus at 23:00. During the Spring Festival, the operating hours will be extended.
Taxi

- Guangzhou New Baiyun International Airport has a self-service check-in terminal. The check-in time is 6 hours to 45 minutes before the plane takes off, and the manual check-in time is 45 minutes before the departure time.
