Dead sea394.6 meters below sea level, is the lowest point of the world's land. Because the Dead Sea does not have an exit, the water flowing into the Dead Sea cannot flow out of the Dead Sea and can only leave by evaporation.
Its extreme salt content prevents fish from living here, hence the name "Dead Sea".
This is an interesting place for swimming, because such a high salt content makes it easy for people to float on the water.
