• Lianzhen Xiejiaba，addressJunction of 5th Street and 6th Street, Lianzhen Town, Dongguang County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province（Turn on the east bank of the South Canal）。IntroductionThe dam is 235 meters long, 3.6 meters thick, and 5 meters high. In the late Qing Dynasty, the squire of Lianzhen Xie donated money to purchase more than 10,000 catties of glutinous rice. The glutinous rice was used to make porridge and the rice grains were filtered. The remaining glutinous rice slurry was very viscous and was mixed with white ash and loess in a corresponding proportion to build a dike. The existing dam has good stability and is only partially weathered. The middle and lower parts of the dam are grayish white, and the upper part is yellowish. This is because the upper part of the dam was well preserved when it was repaired and reinforced in 2012, and most of the repaired parts were the middle and lower parts. Lianzhen Xiejiaba was listed as a World Cultural Heritage in 2014 as the Cangzhou-Hengshui-Dezhou section of the South Canal.
