The North Yandang Mountain has a total area of 450 square kilometers. The highest peak, Baigangjian, is 1,150 meters above sea level. It is famous for its strange peaks and waterfalls. It is a national key scenic spot, one of China's top ten famous mountains, and the first batch of five-A-level scenic spots in the country. It was formed 120 million years ago and is a typical Cretaceous rhyolite ancient volcano. Its Lingfeng, Lingyan, and Dalongqiu are known as the "Three Wonders of Yandang".
