Mallorca has a Mediterranean climate, with plenty of sunshine and warm in summer, cool and rainy in winter, but the northern mountains are colder with occasional snow. The temperature is 8-15 degrees in January and 21-29 degrees in July. The average number of rainy days in winter is about 5 days, and the rainfall is about 50 mm.
