Tourist Attractions

The Catholic Church of St. Alexander in Aadorf, was built according to plans by Joachim Brenner between 1863 and 1865. The tower shaft of the previous church from 1478 was still used. The glass paintings are by Ferdinat Gehr.

The former is located in the municipality Cistercian convent Täntikon. The monastery is first mentioned in 1247. Most of the buildings, however, date from the 15th and 16th centuries. Unfortunately it is partially destroyed and the Kreuzgeng now leads to a road. The former monastery now houses a federal agricultural research institute.
