Aalsmeer[1] is in the Amstelland in the south of the province North Holland just south of Amsterdam.
Arrive
By plane
The airport Schiphol is not far north of this place. Bus 342 provides a direct connection to Aalsmeer, from approximately 5 a.m. to approximately midnight.
By train
Aalsmeer does not have a station. Train passengers can transfer to a bus to Aalsmeer at Hoofddorp station or Schiphol station.
By car
Aalsmeer can be reached by car by taking the exit Hoofddorp-Aalsmeer on the A4 and driving south-east on the N201. Aalsmeer is reached after a few kilometers. From the center of the Netherlands, Aalsmeer can be reached via the N201, which connects to the A2 at Vinkeveen. (NB: The N201 goes around Aalsmeer, but has several exits. Depending on your destination in Aalsmeer, it may be more convenient to use the N196.)

Aalsmeer can be reached on foot with LAW Pelgrimspad and LAW Waterliniepad (formerly LAW Stelling van Amsterdam).
By boat
Aalsmeer can be reached by boat via the Ringvaart and via the Westeinder Plas.
Travel around
The center of Aalsmeer is of limited size. The later buildings are northeast of the center. Bus lines 171 and 271 are particularly suitable for public transport within Aalsmeer.
