Chisinau International Airport (cod THERE IT IS: KIV, code ICAO: Lukka) is the main international airport in Republic of Moldova, and one of the main points of entry into the Republic of Moldova. The airport is located in Galata (neighborhood of Chisinau) on the outskirts of the city, on the road that connects the city with the south of the country. It is the hub and operations center for companies: Air Moldova, Moldavian Airlines and Tandem Aero. On May 31 1995Chisinau Airport has been granted the status of International Airport.
