Alcúdia is a place on the Spanish island Mallorca.
getting there
By plane
The nearest airport is that Palma de Mallorca Airport(IATA: PMI). It's about 90 kilometers away. You can get there from the Autobahn MA-13 and then across the country road MA-13a reach in an hour.
By bus
Alcúdia is very well connected to the Mallorcan bus system. Even if it can be very exhausting, from here you can reach almost any place on the island by public transport.

Saint Jaume
- 1 Medieval walls and city gates: Most of them have been preserved or have been restored and some of them are accessible (2017).
- Very beautiful Town center with a lot of charm and flair. In the evening, cozy restaurants await their guests.
- 2 Saint Jaume Church (Església de Sant Jaume), Plaça de Jaume Ques, 07400 Alcúdia. It is located between the thoroughfare and the old town and is built into the city wall.
- Pollentia archaeological site. The excavation site is located next to the medieval city walls, so in direct sight of the "Saint Jaume" church. You can visit the remains of a Roman settlement that was built in the course of the Romanization of Mallorca. Today you can still see the foundations of most of the buildings. The settlement consists of Portella (residential buildings), forum and the theater, which is still in very good condition.

Fundación Jakober
- Fundación Yannick y Ben Jakober, in the former Sa Bassa Blanca farm, approx. 6 km east of the city center. The house is furnished in a mix of Spanish and Moorish styles, and the exhibition mainly shows modern art. All around is an extensive sculpture park.Open: Tue 9.30 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. 2.30 p.m. - 5.30 p.m. without prior appointment.Price: free entry. On other days only with advance notice and for a fee.
