Alcalá de los Gazules is a city in Andalusia.
background
Alcala goes back to Roman times. In the Middle Ages, during the Reconquista, Alcalá was on the border between Moors and Catholics.
Its uniform cityscape as White city is completely under monument protection. Alcalá is located in the mountainous hinterland of Andalusia, close to the nature park with its cork oaks Los Alcornocales.
