Alhama de Aragón is a municipality of Spain, in the province of Zaragoza, Autonomous Community of Aragón and located next to the Jalón River. It has an area of 31.11 km² with a population of 1,211 inhabitants (INE 2008) and a density of 38.93 inhabitants / km².

By car
To get to the Termas Pallarés Spa, take the "Alhama de Aragón-Monasterio de Piedra" detour on the N-II highway (Madrid-Zaragoza).
By train
There is a high-speed line (AVE) that places the Termas Pallarés Spa just one hour from Madrid and 20 minutes from Zaragoza. There are several regional medium-distance trains that also connect Calatayud with Alhama.

- Roman City of Medinaceli. Medinaceli was one of the frontiers during the wars of the Middle Ages, between Muslims and Christians. The visit to such a noble town is carried out on a stroll, getting lost through the narrow and picturesque streets that warn of a Moorish layout, such as the fortress and outside the walls.
- Natural Park of the Stone Monastery. Hidden between the steep mountain ranges of the Iberian System, located in the municipality of Nuévalos, in the province of Zaragoza, the Monasterio de Piedra natural park offers us one of the most rewarding experiences that can be found in the world, in a journey of two and a half hours through an unusual orchard around the Water and its movement in waterfalls and caves.
- The Monastery of Santa María de Huerta. It is a remarkable monument of basically medieval architecture, transformed over time with additions and decorations of later tastes.

Spas and Spas: Two of the four thermal establishments that have traditionally (since the first third of the 19th century) have operated in Alhama are currently in operation.
To eat
There is an abundance of fruits and cereals, including wheat and apple. The specialty of the area are migas and dishes made with popular lamb meats, especially its lamb a la pastora is known. It is equally common to find cod that has its own denomination in this province: Zaragoza cod, usually stewed with potatoes.
Confectionery, there are some indigenous preparations such as cobblestones, blanched cakes, almojábanas, sweet bread. The specialty of the town are the baturros biscuits from Alhama de Aragón.
Drink and go out
Among the wines it is worth highlighting those from Cariñena and those from Bodegas Langa (Denomination of Origin Calatayud), very close to the town.
