Located at the northeastern end of the Majorca island, Spain, about 70 km from the city of Palma, the population of Artà has about 140 km2, where the Artà mountain range predominates, with the highest elevations of the Majorcan eastern mountain ranges, highlighting the Freda watchtower (561 meters) and the peak of Ferrutx (519 meters).

The climate is typically Mediterranean, characterized by mild winters and hot, dry summers. Average annual temperatures are between 15 and 17 degrees Celsius and total rainfall ranges between 600 and 800 millimeters, with maximum rainfall in spring and autumn.
