Balzers is the southernmost municipality in the Principality of Liechtenstein, it has approx. 4,500 inhabitants. The parish includes the former villages Balzers and Times with the hill of Gutenberg Castle.

Gutenberg Castle, the landmark of Balzers

The castle stands on a 70 m high rock spur, it is owned by the State of Liechtenstein.
