This is a quiet fishing village on the southwest coast 35 km from Savanna-La-Mar. It pulls along the main road that leads to the Black River, 20 km away.

About 3 km north on the way to Savanna-La-Mar on the Parker's Bay is the village of New Hope, but the locals only know the place as Culloden. There you will also find the Auchindon Great House. Located approximately 12 miles west of Whitehouse Belmont / Bluefields with a few small shops, simple restaurants and a police station.

The settlement is 1½ km east of Whitehouse South Sea Park. At the municipal boundary Scott's Cove it is 2½ km. There are traders selling fish on the semi-circular road there. It is 20 km to Black River.
