Balochistan - a province in the south-west Pakistan with the administrative center in Quet.
Most of the terrain is mountainous (Mekran Mountains), desert and semi-arid. In the valleys of periodic rivers and oases, wheat, rice, cotton and date palm are grown. Nomadic breeding of camels, sheep, goats and horses. Fishing is developed on the coast. Exploitation of hard coal, sulfur, iron and chromium ores. Pakistan's largest natural gas reserves are in the Sui region. Communication in the region is poorly developed.
