Bieganin - Bieganin

Bieganin is a village of about 300 inhabitants, located in Greater Poland Voivodeship, in the northwest Ostrów County and in the east Raszków commune. It is located approximately 17 km northwest of Ostrów Wielkopolski and is situated by the district road Raszków - December.

The first mention of Bieganin comes from 1292. The biggest attraction of the village is settlement ring-shaped Lusatian cultures (dated 500-400 BC) with a diameter of about 52x55 meters. It was surrounded by an earth embankment (reinforced at the foot with stones) and a wooden palisade. Mortwik - it is located about 200 meters from the river A clown, south of the road to Glogowa.
