Biskupice - village in Syców commune, in Dolnośląskie Voivodeship, on the local road connecting Syców With Drołtowice, about 5 km from Syców. There are several historical buildings worth seeing in the village.

Characteristic

History

The first mention of the existence of the village comes from April 23, 1155, where in the document of Pope Hadrian IV the village is mentioned as the property of bishops Wroclaw. name Biscopici testifies to the first owners of the village. In the following centuries, the Polish name was used alternately Biskupice and a German name Bischdorf.

Geography

The village is situated on the Sycowskie Hills. There are small forest complexes around it. The buildings form a fairly regular network of streets.
