The town of Boadilla del Monte has the largest public mount of holm oaks in the Community of Madrid.
In the urban area you can visit the historic area that has many historic buildings that have been saved from ruin in recent years or are in the process of restoration. Among its most notable monuments, the Palace of the Infante D. Luis de Borbón stands out, of neoclassical style and built in 1764. In front of this palace, is the former convent of the Carmelites, a building built in the 17th century that has been completely restored to transform as a hotel.
The church of San Cristobal, from the 18th century, is located next to the palace and by the end of 2007 it will be completely rebuilt and equipped as an auditorium.
Finally, the entire environment is currently in the remodeling phase, so for the first months of 2008 it is foreseeable that Boadilla del Monte will have some colorful walks and gardens through which to visit the many monuments.
