Breege is a district of the "Ostseebad Juliusruh-Breege" in the southeast of the peninsula Wittow located on the bodice side. Breege has a very popular sailing port. The Bodden is very popular with water sports enthusiasts and anglers.

Breege is a former fishing village that was known for its large sailing fleet in the 19th century. The "captain's houses" near the harbor on Dorfstrasse date from this time.

The nearest airport is that Rostock-Laage Airport
(IATA: RLG) , about 90 km as the crow flies to the southwest (including direct connections from Munich Airports). A transfer bus runs from Rostock-Laage Airport to the island (for more information see Airport bus).
The small airfield in Güttin (8 km southwest of Bergen on Rügen) only operates on-demand flights (small aircraft). Several buses run from Güttin Monday to Friday RPNV.

In the street
Via the A20 to Stralsund over the Rügen dam to the island of Rügen. After about 40 kilometers on the B96, turn left before Sagard in the direction of Glowe / Altenkirchen. After Sagard, Bobbin and Glowe, you reach the Juliusruh district via the Schaabe. At the entrance to the town, turn left and follow the village road directly to Breege.
