Burlingame is a city in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is interesting for visitors due to its location directly at the San Francisco International Airport (SFO). There are a particularly large number of airport hotels here.

By plane

You can either continue your journey by train, BART from the airport to Millbrae station, then with Caltrain to Burlingame or by car / taxi in about 10 minutes via Hwy 101.

By train

Caltrain connects Burlingame with San Francisco and San Jose and has two traffic stops in the city. The 1 Broadway Station lies in the northwest, the 2 Burlingame Station lies in the southeast. There are two trains per hour.

By bus

In the street

The US-101 highway, which does not cross in this area, crosses Burlingame and has a few exits in the city area. Interstate 280 runs a few miles west, exit Trousdale.

By boat

Burlingame has a little one 3 Marina for yachts and sailing boats.

Tourist Attractions

As a rather modern suburb near the airport, Burlingame doesn't have much to offer. Nevertheless, the city surprises with a lot of green. A local statute has forbidden the sawing or injuring of trees since 1906.
