Geography

Through the area from the north-west (from Janówek) through Byczyna to the south-east (to Pogorzałka), there is a range of undulating hills. To the north and south of them there is a flatter, lowland area. The Prosna River - it is the largest watercourse in the commune, where the tiny Pratwa flows into it near Kostów.
