Béni Mellal is a city in the middle Morocco and capital of the province of the same name.

Béni Mellal means "white (skinned) sons". The city is the economic center of the agricultural region at the western foot of the Middle Atlas. It lies between Marrakech and Fez on rue impérial N 8, about 170 km from Marrakech and about 240 km from Fes.
