Cap-Chat is a city in the east of Quebec.

Cap-Chat is a town of Haute-Gaspésie located on the south shore of the St.Lawrence River on the Gaspé Peninsula in the east of Quebec. The city owes its name to a rock that is shaped like a cat's head.

Since 2000, the city of Cap-Chat includes the former municipality of Capuchins.
