Casalarreina It is a town located in the northwest of the province The Rioja. It is located in an extensive alluvial plain, crossed by the Oja river and located 47 km from Logroño and 7 km from Haro. This Rioja town, of great hospitable character, has good access by motorway and is located in a region of great gastronomic and wine-making interest. It also has an important monumental heritage, both religious and civil, which has been declared a Historic-Artistic Site.

In the town the Ancient Music Festival in the Monastery of Our Lady of Mercy in Casalarreina for several days in August. On June 24 you can enjoy the feast of San Juan with dances, music and the traditional "wine bath" where you can have plenty of wine, buns with bread and chorizo, but be careful, the risk of alcohol poisoning is very high.
