The Country paths is a tourist route in the region of Lanaudiere to Quebec. It highlights the Lanaudière region through agritourism, rural and cultural heritage, and nature. The activities offered on this route are guided tours of the farm, tastings of regional products, visits to gardens and natural sites, interpretation centers, pick-your-own and heritage sites. The businesses located along this road are identified by red signs designed by Tourisme Lanaudière and the Lanaudière Biofood Development Council. They are bound by the criteria contained in a charter of quality and authenticity, as well as by common schedules.

Story
Begun in 2000, this route was animated by the Agrotourism and agrifood network of Lanaudière (RAAL) which published four editions of the map (2000 to 2003). In 2004, the network brought together 38 agro-tourism and agrifood companies that promote regional products.
Created in 2004, the Route des Chemins de Campagne is a joint project of the Biofood Development Council of Lanaudière (CDBL), Tourisme Lanaudière, Tourisme des Mills, the Agrotourism and agrifood network of Lanaudière, local development centers of Montcalm, Matawinie, From Autray, Joliette, Les Moulins, as well as the regional county municipality of The Assumption. The map produced in 2004 by Tourisme Lanaudière, in collaboration with the CDBL, is the fifth edition. But for the first time, places to visit and tourist services were added: gardens, natural and cultural sites as well as artisans and their craft shops, restaurants and accommodation establishments.
The route started with three first circuits. The sixth of six current circuits appeared in the 2011-2012 edition.
In 2013-2014, the map has 59 places to visit are listed on the map of the country roads. They work mainly in agritourism, tourist services, accommodation and catering as well as natural and heritage places, art workshops, gardens and 15 various tourism service companies such as accommodation and catering.
In 2008, the Lanaudière Country Roads won the Regional Tourism Grand Prize for the Lanaudière region, in the “Tourist Services” category. A few weeks later, at the national gala of the Quebec Tourism Awards, they were awarded bronze in the “Tourism Services Award” category.
