Chwaliszew - Chwaliszew

Chwaliszew is a large village with about 1,000 inhabitants, located in Greater Poland Voivodeshipin the eastern part of the Krotoszyn poviat and Krotoszyn commune. It is located approximately 10 km east of Krotoszyn and about 20 km west of Ostrów Wielkopolski, by the district road Sulmierzyce - Woe. A small river flows through the village Black Water.

Worth seeing

  • The greatest monument is church of st. Michael from 1899, referring to the Romanesque style, located in the center of the village. Particularly noteworthy are the historic, baroque wooden sculptures of the Apostles Peter and Paul.
  • It is also worth paying attention to A chapel with a statue of Saint Lawrence from the nineteenth century and on Court from the end of the 19th century.
