Cole Bay is a city in Sint Maarten.

The Koolbaai District is at the southeast end of the Simpson Bay Lagoon. Residential houses and restaurants are located along Welfare Road and Union Road, while industrial areas have emerged in the area of the lagoon and on Cole Bay to the open sea. Naval outfitters, warehouses and warehouses can be found on the lagoon. The Vice President of Island Global Yachting / Sint Maarten (IGY) is the American Jeff Boyd, also “Mr. Marina "called. He is one of the engines of maritime activity on the island. He first came to the island in 1990 as head of the service department at Island Water World. On Welfare Road, in close proximity to Simpson Bay, there are still a few casinos and a variety of restaurants on Palm Plaza, the Royal Village. The only larger hotel complex is the new Princess Resort with an adjoining marina.
The owner of Bobby's Marina in Philipsburg, Sir Robert Velazquez, and his partners want to invest 100 million dollars in Cole Bay. A 400-ton ship crane, a marina for 30 mega-yachts and a condominium complex with 112 apartments are being built together with the construction company for the airfield expansion.
Electric power plants and seawater desalination plants are located on Cole Bay. The Cay Bay is as good as undeveloped. The two hills Cole Bay Hill and Cay Bay Hill are 190 and 180 m high. To the east of Cay Bay Hill, Cay Hill is in close proximity to the capital Philipsburg.

In the street
From the international airport, the main road, Airport Road, leads through Simpson Bay to Cole Bay and on to Philipsburg. The border between Simpson Bay and Cole Bay is formed by the channel that connects the open sea with the lagoon. Airport Road turns into Welfare Road at the bridge.
By boat
Half a dozen marinas can be found in the large lagoon. The lagoon is connected to the open sea by two branch channels. The bascule bridges are opened there several times a day so that sailing boats can pass.
