- Confolens Festival – One of the main summer events in Charente, this festival created in 1957 gives pride of place to folk groups from all over the world. Concerts and artistic performances by confirmed groups (or not) from the French-speaking or world scene are followed by festive strolls in the streets of the city and thematic activities.
