Bosnian Craina is a region of the Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Geographical notes

An approximately triangular area bordering to the north and west with the Croatia, southeast with the Central Bosnia and to the northeast with the Northeast Bosnia.

Background

This historical region represented the Bosnian border between the empire Austrian and the Ottoman one.

In this area the Serbian, Croatian is Bosnian they are practically interchangeable, while in the Serbian Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina it may be necessary to translate from Cyrillic.

Culture and traditions
