Cul-de-Sac is a city in Saint Martin.
background
This small fishing village just north of the Baie Orientale extends over a larger area. Sailors like to visit the harbor. Because it is protected by the offshore island of Ilet Pinel.
Anse Marcel is 2 km northwest of Orient Bay.
beaches
- Grandes Cayes. North of Cul-de-Sac with offshore islands and rocks, popular diving and picnic spot for the locals. Take care when swimming and diving, there are dangerous underwater currents!
- Ilet Pinel. There are two beautiful beaches with restaurants on this island.
- Ilet Tintamarre. Very nice sandy beach on the island. But there is no infrastructure at all, you have to bring food and drink with you.
getting there
In the street
This village is off the main road that leads from Marigot via Grand Case past the Baie Orientale to Quartier d'orleans. The county road D 217 branches off to the north 500 m after the end of the runway at L'Espérance airfield. It leads as a dead end directly to Cul-De-Sac and on to Anse Marcel.
