Caucasus
The region of Caucasus comprises a mountain range located between the Black Sea it's the Caspian Sea, and is considered part of the natural boundary between the Europe and the Asia. Adjacent to the northeast of the Turkey and northwest of the Will, the region is geographically considered part of Western Asia. However, culturally, this part of Russia and these small former Soviet republics are part of Eastern Europe, suffering from the same ethnic problems and tension that have plagued the Balkans, including the recent wars in the Georgia, Azerbaijan and on Chechnya.
