Delhi (or Delhi, in hindi: दिल्ली, urdu: دیلی) is the second largest city in the India. Its location between Aravalli Hill and the Yamuna River made it easy to control the trade routes that flowed from the northwest to the plains of the Ganges River.

The five main railway stations are New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi, Nizamuddin Railway Station, Anand Vihar Railway Terminal and Sarai Rohilla.
