Wooden Treasures of Mazovia the trail is in the region Mazovia.
Information
Wooden Treasures of Mazovia is a thematic trail introducing wooden sacred architecture. It was marked in space with a number of information boards during the project "Skarbiec Mazowiecki - tourist routes of sacred buildings in Warsaw and Mazovia" and is currently under the care of the Local Tourist Organization Skarbiec Mazowiecki. The trail covers 67 sacred objects and has been divided into 6 loops (plus one in preparation). The temples located on the routes allow you to get acquainted with the various, changing over the centuries, forms of their layout, shaping the body, or interior furnishings and decorations.
Preparations
A mini-guide "Wooden Treasures of Mazovia" with maps of the route has been published.[1]
Route
The Wooden Treasures of Mazovia Trail[2] was organized in 6 loops with information boards:
- Ciechanowska Loop on which there are 14 objects
- Ostrołęcka loop on which there are 11 objects
- Płock Loop on which there are 14 objects
- Siedlecka Loop on which there are 9 objects
- Warsaw-East Loop on which there are 8 objects
- Warsaw-Western Loop on which there are 10 objects
In preparation[3] - The Radom Loop with seven facilities.
Transport / By car / On foot / ...
It is recommended to travel along the loops of the trail by car or bicycle. Access to the region is possible by rail.
Security
The trail does not lead through a dangerous area.
