Eeklo[1] is a city located in East Flanders.
Arrive
Eeklo is easily accessible by car via the N9. There is also a station with regular train connections to Ghent.

The city center is small and all sights are within walking distance.
To look at
- The Flemish Renaissance town hall from the seventeenth century with a belfry from 1932, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1999.
- The Sint-Vincentiuskerk built in 1878 - 1883 in neo-Gothic style.
To do
The only existing East Flemish ice hockey team is active in Eeklo: Yeti Bears Eeklo. It is definitely recommended to attend an ice hockey game, also interesting as a family trip. The competitions take place in ice rink De Yeti.
