  • Angra dos Reis - A beautiful 2 hour coastline that includes 365 islands.

  • Itaguaí - Small suburb 1 hour from Rio.
  • Niteroi - It is located on the other side of the bay, in front of Rio de Janeiro, go there to find the Oscar Niemeyer Museum of Contemporary Art (shaped like a UFO).
  • Nova Iguaçu - Famous for her violence and crime.
  • Paraty - A very well preserved 18th century coastal town, near Rio de Janeiro on the green coast.[1].
  • Penedo - A Brazilian version of "little Finland" with European architecture, cobbled streets, small markets and lots of trout restaurants. Right outside of Resende.
