Locals usually hangout at the beach or walk around town. There is a Community theatre if you want to see a movie, and a new Sportsplex with laser tag, ice skating, and rock climbing.

Out of the many stores in Fairfield, there are a lot of local home owned shops. A majority of them being female clothing and fashion stores. DayOne Skateshop is the only skateshop in town and has a lot of quality products carrying local brands such as Gozer, and AusLtd.
Eat
There are many restaurants and places to eat in Fairfield. Located in the center of town is Colony Grill. There are tons of ice cream parlors in town also. There is a Dairy Queen, 16 Handles, PinkBerry, and Coldstone. A great pizza place is Naughti Dolphin, located on the Metro North Train Stration.
